A conference launching China’s Top 100 Machinery Enterprises and Top 30 Auto Manufacturers, launched on May 26, placed Great Wall Motors (GWM) in ninth position. With operating revenues of RMB 76.033 billion, it is the 12th consecutive time GWM has been awarded the honour.
Despite the ongoing global economic downturn, GWM has continued to achieve both strong sales and remarkable performance by introducing new ideas around production, operation and management, and investing more in technical innovation to improve product competitiveness.
In 2015, GWM sold 852,700 vehicles in total, an increase of 16.68% over the previous year; achieving a total profit of RMB 9.665 billion and a gross revenue of RMB 76.033 billion; a 21.46% increase over the previous year.
